The Dream Direction is a handmade plexiglass brooch featuring three colourful directional signs and the phrase “Dreams Know A Way”. Combining turquoise, white, pink and gold mirror details, this playful accessory adds a pop-inspired statement to blazers, shirts and everyday outfits. Inspired by the Dreams collection by Petit Boutique, it was created as part of the Petit Boutique x Funk Da Queen collaboration.
Sometimes dreams know the way better than we do! The Dream Direction is a handmade plexiglass brooch that transforms a colourful directional signpost into an original fashion accessory. Featuring the phrase “Dreams Know A Way”, the design captures the idea that dreams always find their own path, even when the directions seem uncertain.
Inspired by the Dreams collection by Petit Boutique, Dream Direction was created as part of the special Petit Boutique x Funk Da Queen collaboration. The dreamy aesthetic of the collection meets Funk Da Queen’s distinctive pop design identity, resulting in a piece that combines vibrant colour, playful expression and contemporary jewellery design.
The brooch features three directional signs pointing in different directions, carefully crafted from multiple layers of plexiglass. Transparent turquoise, soft white and bright pink are paired with reflective gold mirror details, creating a striking contrast between pastel colours and metallic reflections. Bold typography and geometric silhouettes give the design the appearance of a miniature street sign, bringing a playful pop art influence to the overall composition.
Each piece is handcrafted in the Funk Da Queen studio, where the individual plexiglass elements are precisely cut, carefully assembled and finished by hand. The layered construction creates depth and highlights the different textures and finishes, while the golden mirrored details catch the light and add a distinctive finishing touch.
The Dream Direction brooch can instantly transform even the simplest outfit.
