Petit Hearts Trio – Handmade Triple Heart Dangle Earrings

Three hearts. Endless ways to love.

Three hearts, contrasting colours and a playful composition that refuses to follow the usual rules of symmetry. The Petit Hearts Trio earrings transform the timeless symbol of love into a bold piece of handmade statement jewellery. Crafted from layered plexiglass, these long dangle earrings combine vibrant shades, reflective surfaces and independently moving elements, bringing a contemporary pop attitude to a traditionally romantic motif.

Inspired by the Dreams collection by Petit Boutique, Petit Hearts Trio was designed and handcrafted by Funk Da Queen as part of the Petit Boutique x Funk Da Queen collaboration. The playful and imaginative spirit of the collection is expressed through an unconventional interpretation of the heart, where colour, movement and asymmetry become central design elements. The result resembles a miniature chain of hearts, each with its own shape, orientation and personality.

Each earring features three vertically arranged hearts connected by small metal rings. The upper and lower hearts combine white, vivid red and reflective pink plexiglass, while the middle heart features a black outer silhouette framing a smaller silver mirror heart. This striking contrast between dark and reflective surfaces creates a graphic focal point that visually connects the two earrings.The colour arrangement varies between the earrings, with the red and white hearts appearing in different positions. Their alternating colours and slightly different orientations create a playful asymmetric composition, while the matching silver mirror centres maintain visual balance. The softly irregular heart shapes move away from strict geometric symmetry, giving the design a more spontaneous and expressive personality.

One of the most distinctive elements of Petit Hearts Trio is its movement. Small connecting rings allow the individual hearts to move independently as the earrings follow the natural movements of the wearer. The reflective pink and silver mirror surfaces catch the light, highlighting the changing angles of the design and adding another visual dimension to the composition.Every pair is handcrafted in the Funk Da Queen studio, where the individual plexiglass components are precisely cut, carefully layered and assembled by hand. Special attention is given to the positioning of the connecting rings, allowing the three heart elements to form a balanced vertical silhouette while maintaining their natural movement.The Petit Hearts Trio earrings are perfect for outfits where jewellery takes centre stage. Pair them with an oversized white shirt, tailored black trousers and loafers for a contemporary look with an unexpected pop of colour. Styled with a black turtleneck or a simple strapless top, their elongated silhouette becomes even more prominent, beautifully framing the face.
