Petit Hearts Harmony – Handmade Colourful Plexiglass Heart Necklace

Seven hearts, contrasting colours and a composition that proves harmony does not require perfect symmetry. The Petit Hearts Harmony necklace transforms the timeless symbol of love into a contemporary handmade statement accessory, combining playful silhouettes, bold colour contrasts and reflective plexiglass surfaces. Seven individually connected hearts form a striking decorative chain that follows the neckline, bringing movement, personality and a distinctive pop aesthetic to the design.

Inspired by the Dreams collection by Petit Boutique, Petit Hearts Harmony was designed and handcrafted by Funk Da Queen as part of the Petit Boutique x Funk Da Queen collaboration. The imaginative and romantic character of the collection becomes the starting point for a fresh interpretation of heart-shaped jewellery. Rather than repeating a perfectly symmetrical motif, the design brings together individual hearts with different orientations, colours and finishes, celebrating the visual harmony that can emerge from unexpected contrasts.

The necklace features seven layered plexiglass hearts connected by small metal rings. Bright red elements are combined with reflective pink mirror surfaces, while black heart silhouettes frame smaller silver mirror details, creating a bold contrast between dark backgrounds and metallic reflections. Frosted-looking white hearts with vivid red accents add brightness to the composition, balancing the intensity of the darker and more vibrant colours.The hearts are arranged in different directions, creating a dynamic sequence that follows the natural curve of the neck. Some face left, others right, while several are positioned upside down, giving the design a spontaneous and expressive appearance. Their slightly irregular shapes move away from strict geometric symmetry and add a playful, artistic quality to the necklace.A silver-tone metal chain completes the design, providing a clean metallic contrast to the colourful plexiglass elements. Small connecting rings allow the hearts to move and adjust naturally along the neckline, while the pink and silver mirror finishes catch the light from different angles. The combination of glossy, reflective and solid surfaces creates depth and visual interest, making the necklace an expressive statement piece without relying on traditional decorative gemstones.Each Petit Hearts Harmony necklace is handcrafted in the Funk Da Queen studio, where the individual plexiglass elements are precisely cut, carefully layered and assembled by hand. Special attention is given to the positioning of the connecting rings and the sequence of the hearts, allowing the decorative elements to form a balanced composition while maintaining their natural movement.
