Dream Direction – Handmade Plexiglass Signpost Earrings

Every dream has its own direction! The Dream Direction earrings transform colourful directional signs into a distinctive piece of handmade statement jewellery. Inspired by the Dreams collection by Petit Boutique, Dream Direction was created as part of the Petit Boutique x Funk Da Queen collaboration. The imaginative spirit of the collection meets Funk Da Queen’s distinctive pop design aesthetic, transforming an everyday symbol of navigation into a colourful fashion accessory. The concept reflects the idea that dreams have a way of finding their direction, even when the journey is not entirely clear.

Each earring features three layered directional signs crafted from carefully selected plexiglass pieces. The upper transparent turquoise sign displays the word DREAMS, the middle white and gold sign features KNOW, while the lower bright pink sign completes the phrase with A WAY. Reflective gold mirror plexiglass details frame the composition, creating contrast and highlighting the geometric structure of the design.The slightly different positioning of the signs on each earring creates a subtle asymmetry, giving the pair a dynamic appearance. Pastel tones, reflective surfaces and bold typography come together in a design that references vintage road signs while maintaining a contemporary pop jewellery identity.

Every pair is handcrafted in the Funk Da Queen studio, where the individual plexiglass components are precisely cut, carefully layered and assembled by hand. The construction adds depth and definition to the miniature signs, while the gold mirror surfaces reflect the light and enhance the contrast between the different colours.The Dream Direction earrings can completely transform even the simplest outfit.
